Space In The Spectrum: a TEDxUCSD conference
CHALLENGE
Create social hype and increase interest for the largest event held by TEDxUCSD: the conference, A Space In The Spectrum.
SOLUTION
Use social media (such as Facebook and Instagram) to establish public interest for the event; employ campus tools to increase reach among the student body.
How I helped

Created a marketing campaign, and synthesized the content for it.

Utilized social media tools, such as Facebook marketing and a social media countdown for the day, to increase potential consumer interest.

Worked with on-campus resources to widen event awareness on campus, and also, off-campus.
OUTCOME
Event Sold Out
Due to the increased marketing, tickets for the event were sold out in less than 3 days from the release date.
Increased Social Media Presence
TEDxUCSD's Facebook group experienced a spike in user interest & engagement from 13% to about 46%.
